Severn Valley Railway Spring Gala - Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st April 2024

Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st saw my home railway the Severn Valley Railways annual Spring Gala. With the late withdrawal of 6880 Betton Grange, the smaller locos took centre stage along with fresh out of the paint shop Stanier Mogul No 13268 sporting its new LMS Livery. The visitors were No72 ‘Fenchurch’ from the Bluebell, Lambton tank No29 from NYMR and finally Pannier Tank 1369 from South Devon. The 4 days were really successful, with the gala well supported and the weather fantastic for everyone who attended the event. Big shoutout to everyone on the Valley for producing a fantastic gala with lots going on which means you were never board. 👏🏻👏🏻
