I have trouble Settling on a favorite Black Sabbath album. It rotates between the Debut, Paranoid, Sabotage and Mob Rules. The only early Sabbath album I struggle getting into is technical Ecstasy. I prefer Black Sabbath being Blues and Metal and not Rock n Roll. Never Say Die has a lot of branding issues but I really like a lot of the songs on it. Sabotage by most fans including myself is the last great Ozzy Sabbath record. It's got killer riffs. Hole in the Sky makes me want to head bang immediately. Symptom of the Universe is like a parallel Metal Universe. Who was playing this heavy in 1975?!?!? Black Sabbath is the first ever Metal band by a mile. What makes it even greater are the Hippie Occult vibes running through the albums which make them even cooler. Zeppelin had this vibe as well. I miss this from a lot of the modern Metal bands that seem to be moving in a more mechanized and formulated Pro-Tooled direction.

This guitar solo was a request from one of my subscribers, I loved covering this Iommi masterpiece, it was a lot of fun.
