Using tape to miter fold any kind of long, beveled miter is a fantastic technique but there there are some secrets to success. You have to set yourself up for success by preparing the work pieces properly prior to taping. In this video I share some of those secrets along with some tips for taping and gluing these mitered joints. Miter folding is a great production carpentry technique for assembling box beams quickly and with very minimal specialized tooling.
