Lightning Fighters by Konami 1990

Lightning Fighters also known as Trigon, could have been an amazing game and an all time classic, but is let down by being ridiculously hard. This is due to your ship being very slow and sluggish, compared to enemy fighters and bullets that are "lightning" fast.
Also the collision detection is very harsh and inaccurate giving you zero room for error.
Negatives asides, it does look and sound amazing, Level 3 soundtrack is my fave and remind me of early anime hero music lol
Also amazing water effects.
I think it's a real shame, because this game could have been an all time classic, but is let down by poor game play mechanics that makes the game unplayable at certain points.
I still love it and hope to master it someday, until then continues is a must! :o
