First off, you’ll be on a septic system, which should be inspected to make sure it’s in good working order, as replacing a septic can be costly. Secondly, you’ll be on a well for your water.
Making sure the well has the necessary systems for potable water and it has the capability to supply water for normal household use is also important. Depending on where you’re purchasing, other items to consider are conservation restrictions for development, if you’re on a floodplain, any proposed developments in the area, and any tax incentives that come with the property, like conservation tax credits, managed forest tax credits, agricultural tax credits, and more.
