Motorsports Styling. If you have a manual transmission in your S550 and you want to make a styling statement, this Rally Stripe 6-Speed Shift Knob is one way to do it. It has a round shape that some people find comfortable. Each knob features rally stripes that go from front to back, plus a classic 6-speed shift pattern. You can get this shift knob in a few styles. One is black with white stripes and lettering, while another is black with white accents, including the running pony logo. Finally, there's white with black accents. This shift know is officially licensed by Ford and will fit on any 2015 to 2017 Mustang GT, EcoBoost or V6 model with the manual transmission. Durable Material. Each shift knob is made of a Partek resin compound for excellent durability and strength. All the designs on the knob are inlaid engravings into the material and polished, so it won't wear off over time yet it's smooth to the touch. The knob measures 2-1/8 inches in diameter and has a 12 mm x 1.25 thread pattern. It's all reverse lock compatible. Simple Install. It's easy to install this shift knob on your car, and the job doesn't require any tools. You just unscrew the stock knob from the shifter, apply some Loctite to the threads of this new knob, and screw it into place. This shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to complete.
