Woodturning Projects That Sell - The Craftsman Rolling Pin

Today's project on the wood lathe is another project in the woodturning that sells series. As craft fair season is upon us many may be looking for a quick easy project that is a great impulse buy and stock item. This is also a great beginner woodturning project to practice tool control, shaping, and turning large flat areas. This project that sells starts with a 2.75-inch square by 20-inch-long piece of walnut or any wood of your choosing and finishes as a beautiful and fully functional 18-inch rolling pin. The rolling pin was sanded to 240 grit, burnished with 0000 steel wool and finished with a food safe finish that can be found at the link below in the description.
