Good to Go: Hummers are really cool vehicles and they are not nearly as scary as some think as far as fuel economy and repair costs. It's essentially a Chevy motor on a 3/4 ton suspension, so the parts are just Chevy parts most of the time. As for fuel economy, it's not going to get you 40mpg, but it should get similar to what you would expect from a 3/4 ton truck. The body is in pretty decent condition although it does have some flaws. The tires are nearly new all the way around. The windows, sunroof, heated seats on the passenger side, AC, heat, turn signals, wipers, wiper fluid, horn, and cruise all work the way they should. It runs and drives very well. I don't hear any suspension noise and the brakes are solid.

Take a Look at: There are a couple cosmetic things that need fixed including a broken windshield and a broken back door latch, although the back door did open before I broke it (whoops). It also needs some repair work on the oil dipstick tube as the old one broke off. We do have the replacement part, but we have not installed it yet. There is a service 4x4 light that comes on when trying to engage it. I think Chevy's are pretty common for an actuator going bad that switches it from 2x4 to 4x4 although we don't have it officially diagnosed yet. There is not a check engine light on the dash, but the computer does pull a couple exhaust codes P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1 and P0449 Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit. The heated seats on the driver's side don't seem to work. The radio does not seem to work.
