Anthony Henday Drive Time Lapse

Drive around the Henday in Edmonton from Sherwood Park Freeway to Fort Rd. The section from the Whitemud to Sherwood Park Freeway was closed on the day of filming for construction.

A short section of the Henday is still under construction and is due for completion in 2016. Upon completion the Henday will be the first completed ringroad freeway in Canada.

The final leg of the freeway - dubbed the North-East Henday - will be between 6 and 10 lanes wide depending on location - complete with all parclo interchanges - and is projected to be the busiest section of the freeway as it goes through densely populated region of the metropolitan area.
