Backpacking to Sawtooth Lake in Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains || Stanley Idaho || Hiking Idaho Lakes

This backpacking trip to Sawtooth Lake has been something we’ve be wanting to do for sometime. Finally the smoke parted somewhat and we leaped on the opportunity. The temperature at the lake was perfect. The sunrise was spectator especially in the fall. This gorgeous alpine lake is located in Stanley Idaho in the Sawtooth National Forest.

We enjoy day hiking, night hiking, backpacking, mountain biking day or night riding, rock hounding, skiing, snowshoeing and photography.
