An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Goa made an emergency landing at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after experiencing a mid-air engine failure on July 16. The Airbus A320neo aircraft, operating flight 6E-6271, was diverted and landed safely at 9:52 PM. IndiGo confirmed that a “technical snag” was detected, prompting immediate action as per safety protocols. While the affected aircraft is undergoing checks, an alternative aircraft has been arranged to complete the journey for the passengers. No injuries were reported.
