P0442 & P0456 TOYOTA - SMALL EVAP LEAK - FIXED! (NOT GAS CAP) DIY SMOKE MACHINE - 2004 AVALON

Описание к видео P0442 & P0456 TOYOTA - SMALL EVAP LEAK - FIXED! (NOT GAS CAP) DIY SMOKE MACHINE - 2004 AVALON

Just a quick video showing how I found a small evap system leak on my 2004 Toyota Avalon with error codes PO442 and PO456. (Not the Gas cap)
P0442 & P0456 would come up pending and then eventually it would trip the check engine light to turn on along with the VSC warning lights.
I had already replaced the Gas cap with OEM.

Here's a link to the YouTube video I watched to make this simple but effective DIY Smoke test evap machine:

I had carefully looked at each hose to make sure there were no splits or cracks and made sure that they were all connected and I still couldn't find the leak. I was thinking I would have to replace the Evap Canister or drop the gas tank and replace the Overfill Check Valve (another common place for an Evap leak).

You will see in the video where I finally found the small leak.

It's been a week since I fixed this, and no codes are pending after all of the monitors and tests are complete. It is now ready for California Smog test.

Thanks for watching!
