🧠 Thoughts:
Have you ever thought about all the humans that have come and gone in the generations before you? Of all the people that have ever existed, most of them have been forgotten or are barely known at all. If you walk around an old cemetery, look at the graves. Many of them are no longer visited. Who were those people? They had lives. Many of them had friends, jobs, and a sense of belonging. Yet today, there is barely a trace of their ever having been here at all.

And if you go back thousands of years, the memory of any singular individual is mostly dependent upon their level of historical significance, which boils down to just a small handful of people out of billions. Of those famous people, their memory fades away too. Who they were, what difference they made, it all passes from contemporary awareness into the dark abyss.

So many names, so many voices. In a way, it's like they've never existed. In a way, it's like we're soon to also never exist. Along with the memories of all the people who ever existed, this world is also going to pass away. But if living beyond your years is important to you at all, fortunately there is hope. 🕊️

📖 Bible Verse:
While making this video, I thought about 1 John 2:17.
It reads, "And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."

🤔 This verse makes me wonder what the will of God is. I'm confident that it has to do with Jesus Christ because he will always be alive, and his words will never pass away (Matthew 24:35).
