Join us as we head to Redruth, Cornwall, for the annual festival celebrating the life of William Murdoch and the rich industrial heritage of Redruth.

William Murdoch (1754-1839), a Scottish engineer, made Redruth his home for almost 20 years when he worked for Boulton & Watt as an engine erector. His house in Cross Street was the first house in the entire UK to be lit using gas. Amazing!
