Today kicks off Obesity Care Week with goal of bringing about more public awareness about the science and the heart behind the medical treatment of obesity. Words matter. The way we speak to people impacts them as people and it impacts how we feel too. Consider evaluating your language around the topic of obesity and the people who suffer from this disease. I think it can potentially change some of your interactions with others in a positive way.
