In 2006;Kay and Jill did a DNA test to prove that Jill is Katherine's daugther.Katherine received the results by phone,and told Jill that she is her daugther.Nobody had seen the DNA results... Besides,Katherine seemed to be upset when she received the results...
Maybe Katherine lied about the results and she doesn't remember about it (because of her memory troubles).
