About Chance Emerson:
Chance Emerson is a 23-year-old Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter originally from Hong Kong, now based in the Northeast. While attending Brown University, he cultivated a devoted following in both college and indie/folk rock circles through relentless releases and tours, selling out numerous headline shows and supporting established artists like Johnnyswim, Eli Young Band, Lawrence, Ripe, Blues Traveler, Brett Dennen, and even Nancy Wilson's Heart.

His latest 10-track album, "Ginkgo," beautifully illustrates his rapid rise from a dorm-room troubadour to a nationwide touring sensation, driven by both Gen Z/TikTok engagement and support from established artists. Emerson's journey began with his self-produced EP, "The Indigo Tapes," in 2017, which reached #1 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter EP chart.

In 2020, he followed up with the album "The Raspberry Men," recorded in a Maine shed, receiving acclaim from NPR, American Songwriter, and other notable sources, with Earmilk naming it one of the best indie/alternative albums of 2020.
