Bob Dylan originally released this song in 1964. Nearly sixty years later, the words of this song couldn't be more powerful to us as we grapple with the undeniable truths that stand before us as a nation. This is our line in the sand. As people, we believe in equality and justice for all. As artists, we feel a calling to question, to expose, to learn, and to amplify causes that matter to us. This is yet another pivotal moment in our history where we must join together in solidarity to actively fight back against institutionalized racism that exists in our country. Black lives matter. Black lives persevere. Black lives are cherished. Black lives are beautiful.
