S4#21.Catamaran Myth BUSTED! Portofino 47 sneak peek/Leopard 45 "best strong" production cat!

This week we share our sailing on Crete on our Leopard 45 to the Minoan palace of Knossos, and we discuss the frequently quoted statement that "You NEED to sail catamarans by instruments"!!! We blow this falsehood out the water and share how it is all related to the lack of experience of catamarans and the fact that the signs and feelings of sailing cats are completely different...

We also share key principles for ONLY stepping UP into the life raft and the fact that it takes 6 months of get used to your boat and how it handles different conditions.

However the key is that you need to learn the signs, feelings and pay attention to the way the boat reacts so that you can operate safely and effectively without instruments....

We also share our Portofino 52 furniture construction material with an interesting strength challenge and a walk through of the Portofino 47 with only a few months to go before its launch.
