Her resignation letter holds no significance here. "Within an hour and a half, the post garnered over 8,000 comments. Mokhlesur Rahman Sagar wrote, "An uprising doesn't require a resignation letter." Mir Rupak Mia commented, "Hasina's resignation has no significance." Sadiq Khan said, "Agreed. Her downfall is what matters; the resignation letter is irrelevant." Another commenter, Mohammad Nazmul Islam, added, "What would I do with the resignation of a government I don't recognize?"This discussion arose following an interview in which President Mohammad Shahabuddin told Manabzamin editor Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, "I have no official documentation of Sheikh Hasina’s resignation."
