This video introduces you to Ms. Honoka Yahagi, one of Japan's upcoming hopeful actresses.
Honoka was born in Chiba prefecture to Japanese parents. In 2008, she was scouted when she went to an amusement park with her family when she was in the 6th grade of elementary school, and in 2009 she became an exclusive model for the fashion magazine "Love Berry" and began performing arts activities. She wanted to be a ballerina, but she was in a slump due to an injury. In March 2010, she made her debut as an actress in the TV drama "Teaching How to Find a Dream 2" (Fuji TV series), and in November of the same year, she starred in the movie "Maria-sama ga Miteru."
She was ranked number one in TV magazine's 2013 "Actress Who is Sure to Break out this Year" predictions. She will play the role of Kotoko Aihara, the main character of her, in "Mischievous Kiss ~ Love in TOKYO" (CS broadcasting, Fuji TV TWO), which was broadcast on March 29, 2013. The drama was also broadcast in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, and Singapore, and became a particularly enthusiastic boom in Asia.
She left Evergreen Entertainment at the end of August 2014 due to the expiry of her contract. Her official profile and her official blog have been deleted. Shortly after, she opened a blog in which she expressed her desire to continue her acting career, which has since been deleted. Activities such as stage greetings for the movie "Shunki Gokko", which was released just before she left the company, were carried out, and the commercial for "Sapporo Ichiban" was still being broadcast. She also has a movie "Krevani, Tunnel of Love" (directed by Akiyoshi Imazeki) released in early spring 2015.
In order to step up as an actress, she studied abroad in NY in Oct 2015 and returned to Japan in March 2016. After returning to Japan, she received an offer to appear in the movie "HANAGATAMI" directly from Nobuhiko Obayashi. She also decided to change her name after being advised when she first met that she should "take care of the name given to her by her mother and father." On her official blog dated July 1 of the same year, she announced that she would be working under her real name, Honoka Yahagi, instead of her stage name Mirai Honoka.
On 6 April 2017, she announced on her own blog and Twitter that she belongs to Kenne from April 1 of the same year. She made her first appearance on Fuji TV's "Month 9" in the 10th and final episode of "Kizoku Tantei" broadcast in June of the same year. In 2018, she starred in a drama for the first time in two years with "Can I hug you without permission tonight?"
Her specialty is classical ballet, which she started at the age of 2. She is also good at dancing, and she uses this skill in songs such as "Mischievous Kiss".
She has an older sister and an older brother.
Her favorite actresses are Audrey Hepburn and Anne Hathaway. Her future dream is to become an international actress like Hepburn. Ever since I watched "Breakfast at Tiffany's" when I was little, I've longed for New York, and on the set of "Mischievous Kiss ~ Love in Tokyo", I was frustrated that I couldn't speak English even though Yuki Furukawa and director Koto Nagata spoke English. I decided to study abroad in 2015 because I was recommended by my parents. After returning to Japan, she started an English study corner "HONOKA'S English Time" on her official mobile site. Kitano was a classmate of Hinako Kitano in high school, and Kitano was aware of Yahagi's existence while she was still in school, but Yahagi himself didn't seem to know about it. After showing the group photo at that time, he finally noticed.

Many thanks for watching...; please give a massive thumbs up! My videos are sort of related to each other, so enjoy others as well. Peace out... to all the beautiful souls out there in the world. Cheers!
