You have all been asking for some stunning cotton colorways, and I have a BEAUTY for you today. I dyed a commercially wound ball of yarn with some Rit Liquid dyes to create a stunning gradient 100% cotton yarn.

VIDEO CONTENTS
[0:00] Introduction
[1:11] Setting up the dyepot: 16 cups water + 2/3 cup table salt.
[1:48] My dye plan
[2:41] Adding the dye: 1/3 cup Fuchsia
[3:21] Adding the ball of yarn to the dyepot. Adding a small splash of the Navy dye on top of the ball of yarn
[5:10] After 10 min in the dyepot, removing the yarn and letting it cool
[5:48] Color Stay Fixitive Step https://amzn.to/2M2AZkT (Affiliate Link): 3 splashes of the dye fixative. ~2-3 Tablespoons (I didn't have my dyesafe one one on hand). Add the still steaming ball of yarn directly to the pot. Move it around a lot. Leave it in the basin for 30 min stirring occasionaly.
