ICE started a new campaign on November 18, 2025, to help stop student visa fraud in the US.

➡️ The Department of Homeland Security created a new training website under ICE’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program to provide school officials with practical tools and guidance to identify potential fraud.

➡️ The training covers how to carefully review documents, verify academic and financial information, and use trusted resources to confirm an applicant’s background.

➡️It also highlights common red flags, including inconsistent academic records, forged financial documents, avoidance of identity checks, questionable living arrangements, and unusual behavior on campus.

✅ The goal of this initiative is to help schools protect their programs, strengthen the integrity of the student visa system, and prevent foreign students from exploiting U.S. educational institutions.

✅ The training is now available on the SEVP Fraud Hub at Study in the States.
