Roasted Garlic Cabbage
Ingredients:
• 1 medium green cabbage, cut into thick wedges
• 3 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
• 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
• 1 tsp sea salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra depth)
• ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
• 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional, for a hint of umami)
Instructions:
• Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
• Arrange the cabbage wedges on the baking sheet, giving them some space so they roast evenly.
• In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
• Drizzle the mixture over the cabbage, making sure to coat each wedge well.
• Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden and crispy.
• Once done, drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle Parmesan, if using. Serve warm!
📝 Tip: Want even more flavor? Add a light drizzle of balsamic glaze after baking for a sweet-tangy touch!

Savory Korean-Style Ground Turkey
Ingredients:
• 1 lb lean ground turkey
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ inch fresh ginger, minced
• ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a lighter option)
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar (You can use apple cider vinegar if you don't have rice vinegar)
• ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
• 1 tsp gochujang (Korean chili paste, optional for a spicy kick) -( Substitution: Light soy sauce, Sriracha, Ketchup = mix well) 😋
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 2 green onions, chopped
• 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
• Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil.
• Add minced garlic and ginger—let them sizzle for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
• Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
• Pour in soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, red pepper flakes, gochujang, and black pepper. Stir everything together and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the flavors soak in.
• Finish by adding chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that extra crunch.
• Serve hot alongside the roasted garlic cabbage or over a bowl of steamed brown rice.
📝 Tip: Want a richer sauce? Stir in a teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with water at the end for a thick, glossy finish!
