Testing & Tagging a USB Charger

Test and Tag Training have discovered some general confusion surrounding testing and tagging chargers and power supplies. When you test and tag, USB chargers need to be visually inspected and PAT tested on the AC side of the transformer (the side that plugs into the wall) as this side carries 240V AC current.

Faults can be detected during Class II Insulation resistance or Class II Leakage Tests.
