The Butcher has become a meme character, only picked in competitive to troll the other team. In public games, even though a little more useful, he still is very dependable on many variables, which you as a player can't necessarily control. To play successful Butcherino you need to roam to get kills and clear lanes whenever you can. This allows you to farm your trait quest, taken that you aren't dying at all. He is great against no mobility heroes examples being Nazeebo, Kael'thas, Kael'thuzad, etc... Hopefully this video will give an idea how to play him and will spark your imagination to try him yourself and try your own build.
