Summary :-
Op(32M) is married to Emily(30F) and they have a daughter named Lucy(5F). OP and his wife end up getting a divorce because their marriage fell apart. OP’s ex-wife takes him to court for the divorce and makes him have to pay child support. OP gets to see Lucy on the weekends however, that’s typically when OP is needed at work the most and he has to keep taking off work therefore, OP is fired from his job and can’t pay any of his bills. That includes the child support payments and then OP’s ex-wife turns him in to the authorities and he spends time in jail. OP gets a letter from a mutual friend of his ex-wife that tells him that she has been cheating on him almost their entire marriage and that Lucy may not be his.
OP takes a paternity test and he’s not the father so he hires the best lawyer in town and he sues Emily for emotional distress, fraud, and child support payments. OP wins the case sending Emily to prison for 3 years and she has to release her house as payment for all of the child support payments OP paid for. OP is at home when someone crashes into his car out front, it ends up being Emily with Lucy in the back seat. Emily is drunk and OP calls an ambulance for Lucy. Lucy ends up being okay and OP takes Emily to court again to testify against her in the drunk driving accident. Lucy gets put in foster care.
