Suddenly, Max heard a soft cry. Following the sound, he discovered a tiny bird with a hurt wing lying on the ground. The bird's name was Bella. Max knew he had to help. Using a leaf and some twigs, he made a small splint for Bella's wing.

"Thank you, Max," Bella chirped. "But I need to get back to my nest high up in the tree."

Max thought for a moment, then had an idea. He found a long vine and tied it to a sturdy branch. "Hold on tight, Bella!" Max said as he began to climb, pulling Bella up with him.

It was a tough climb, but Max didn't give up. When they finally reached the nest, Bella's family was overjoyed. "You're a hero, Max!" they cheered.

From that day on, Max and Bella became the best of friends. Max's bravery and kindness showed that even the smallest creatures can do great things.

And so, Max returned to his burrow, tired but happy, ready for more adventures in the magical forest.
