In Geneva, the UN agency supporting Palestinian refugees revealed on Tuesday that approximately 250,000 people were affected following Israel's recent issuance of an evacuation order for parts of southern Gaza.

Speaking via video-link from Gaza, UNRWA spokeswoman Louise Wateridge reported witnessing families beginning to pack up and leave the area in response to the orders. She emphasized that the agency expects these numbers to increase as the situation develops.
