HBO Sign-Off (May 9th, 1976) (MY TAKE)

I know what you may be thinking, yes I know that the HBO sign-off with the more common sign-off music from 1977-1981 has been posted countless times by people on YouTube, but you know, what you're going to be seeing is a rare treat, one that is considered to be my own take of a lost HBO sign-off from 1976, coming right after an idea came up in my mind after I read the old HBO program guides from those times and got inspired by them. Thereby, I thought it would be fantastic if I recreated a lost HBO sign-off from 1976, and for that idea, following an airing of a movie. The EIA-189A color bars have also been shown by most television stations (including HBO) after they signed off for the night at the time, just to let you know.

This aired in the overnight hours of Saturday, May 8th going into Sunday, May 9th, 1976, after an airing of The Return of the Pink Panther (1975).
