I needed a break from the renovation projects, so I decided to build something I've had in my head for a while... a DIY blue concrete fire table / fire pit. We built a concrete form from melamine, and cut out foam knockouts on my X-Carve CNC. I then used a glass fiber reinforced (GFRC) concrete mix with a blue oxide pigment, and sprayed a face coat of the concrete. I added the glass fibers to the backer concrete mix, and hand paced it in. And lastly we dropped in a gas fire pit insert and lit it up.
