Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: Corrupting First Soldiers

Jenova corrupted and destroyed the entire Cetra civilization, and with Sephiroth she relentlessly does so with Cloud. Why not then, do the evil duo not focus their attentions on Zack, at all? Zack has S-Cells within him, he would be a powerful ally if corrupted or even just tricked. Yet Mr. Fair, even by the dusk of Rebirth, goes entirely unravaged. Why?
