We, Enrico Fermi’s High School students and teachers, from Montesarchio, located in the Province of Benevento, have decided to monitor a project financed by the European’s Regional Development funds (ERDF) “ANTI-SEISMIC ADAPTATION OF DON LORENZO’S MILANI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL” since we strongly feel involved in the topic at a personal level. In fact, we live in an area with high seismic and hydrogeological risks. Many of our grandparents had to evacuate due to the November’s 1980 seismic event (Irpinia earthquake) just like many of us did after the landslides that affected the entire Valle Caudina. We also have recently (December 2019) witnessed sudden and catastrophic episodes.
