HYDRAA Commissioner Shri A.V. Ranganath ordered officials to provide an alternative location for the small traders on both sides of the road passing through the middle of Pragathinagar (Ambeer Lake) lake. He said measures should be taken to ensure businesses can continue smoothly there. In the backdrop of complaints received at HYDRAA helpline, he stated that they are taking steps to protect Pragathinagar Lake. He said they have already transported up to 150 lorry loads of garbage heaps in the lake surroundings. On this occasion, locals complained to the Commissioner that fish, chicken, and meat waste mixing into the lake is causing the surroundings to become foul-smelling. Many requested that the small traders be relocated from here. HYDRAA Commissioner ordered local officials to arrange for showing an alternative location and relocating the small traders there.
