Going into this experiment, I thought that beefing up the Samsung Z Fold7, making it look like a computer, was what would make it powerful. But I learned that its power doesn’t come from how you can accessorize it.

I used a Satechi Thunderbolt 4 dock, my BenQ 27" 4K monitor, a Magic Mouse, and a Keychron K7 Max keyboard to create a complete desktop setup. And because I use my laptop almost exclusively for editing video, I had my RODE PodMic USB and SSD plugged in, and working(!!), too.

The Z Fold7 is on loan to me from Samsung, the Keychron K7 was a gift from Keychron, and all other accessories and software (Lumafusion for Android) were purchased by me.

I filmed this video with the Lumix S1II + S Series PRO 24-70mm F2.8, the Canon PowerShot V1, the S25 Ultra, and the Z Fold7. My voice-over was recorded with the RODE PodMic USB.
