HOOKÉ S2E11 - NEWFOUNDLAND : SEA TROUT FISHING

The trip is divided into two parts. First, the boys go fishing on the Avalon rivers, and then hit the road up to Corner Brook where they got to fish on the Humber River. To provide a helping hand, Paul invites his friends Chris Baird, a local guide, and Jeremy Charles, one of the best chefs in Canada who is also a Newfoundland native. The trout were uncooperative, but the salmon caught by accident and the evenings spent by the fire enjoying delicious meals prepared by Paul and Jeremy easily made up for the lack of fish.

Le voyage se divise en deux volets : d’abord sur les rivières d’Avalon, puis un peu de route jusqu’à Corner Brook où les gars pêchent sur la rivière Humber. Pour les aider sur le territoire, Paul invite ses amis Chris Baird, un guide local, et Jeremy Charles, un des meilleurs chefs cuisiniers au Canada qui est aussi natif de la région. La truite se montre peu coopérative, mais les quelques saumons pris accidentellement et les soirées passées sur le bord du feu à déguster les repas de rois concoctés par Paul et Jeremy compensent pleinement.
