At the Lagos premiere of 'Sin: First Blood', actress Toni Tones shared personal insights about her role, the film, and the journey behind the scenes.

She explained that the title "Sin" is actually a shortened form of "Tosin", the name of her character in the movie. Toni also spoke about the challenges she’s faced in her career, reflecting on the determination it takes to succeed in Nollywood, especially for women navigating the industry on their own.

She highlighted the importance of self-reliance and growth, touching on her experiences working with director Yemi “Filmboy” Morafa, whom she described as visionary and collaborative.

In a heartfelt moment, Toni emphasized the often-overlooked role of housewives, stating that their contribution to society deserves more recognition and respect.

The series premieres on Prime Video Naija, with ‘Sin: First Blood’ dropping this Thursday, July 24th, and ‘Sin: Blackout’ following on August 22.
