I was only in Ukraine a few short days. In that time, I saw schools and entire villages decimated by airstrikes, met so many good people, and heard countless stories of loved ones injured or killed by Putin’s armies. But while I saw so much suffering and destruction, I also saw something else: the unparalleled courage, tenacity, and above all, spirit of these good people that cannot and will not be extinguished.
