A wholesome weekend in Cambridge - what a quaint walkable city!

You could spend a few days just walking around, looking at the beautiful buildings, and reading about the history of this famous city.

Of course we had to do the traditional punting on the River Cam. There are options to go with a guide or to rent the boats out on your own. We saw so many people stuck and struggling so I'm glad we opted for a guide. Maybe next time we will try having a go ourselves!

There are lots of providers so make sure you read the fine print to know which company's stand you need to go to for your activity.

If you have time, definitely check out the Cambridge University Botanical Gardens. You have to pay to get in but it's a lovely spot with a wide variety of plants to enjoy but also ample seating and lovely grounds to spend an afternoon in.
