Shelter Point 10 Year Old Single Malt Canadian Whisky Review: A Decade In The Making

We don't see many Canadian Single Malt Whiskies over 10 years old. Today I am reviewing the Shelter Point 10 Year Old Single Malt Canadian Whisky. It's not everyday we see Canadian Single Malt Whiskies with age statements comparable to those we are used to seeing attached to Single Malt Scotch Whiskies. Shelter Point Distillery is located in Campbell River, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia on the West Coast of Canada. They were established in 2009 and have been making whisky since 2011. Their flagship whisky is their Artisanal Single Malt Whisky. This whisky is the 2023 Shelter Point 10 Year old Canadian Single Malt Whisky. It was aged for 10 years in an Ex-Bourbon barrels before being bottled without chill filtration, at natural colour, and at 46%ABV.
