Hello all.

With rising diesel prices I have decided to experiment with running my 300 Tdi Defender on vegetable oil at £1.25 a litre which is at the time of writing about 75p a litre cheaper than diesel. I'm running in the summer at a mix of 50% diesel to 50% veg oil, I'll reduce this in the winter.

Vegetable oil is rising in price too but is still cheaper than diesel. An alternative is to use used vegetable oil but I haven't got time to mess about with all of the filtering required :-)
