RUMINATIONS: This episode was actually one where a loooot of people disagreed with me. They saw it as ultimately a stupid, harmless (and occasionally funny) comic that I was overreacting to. They might be right in that regard, especially with a few years of hindsight (plus Marville to really highlight what true pain a parody comic can be). Still, I had a lot of fun doing it and it was great to actually have a comic creator on the show for once. Even they admitted it was crap, but hey, occasions like this are still work and sometimes you do what you need to. The next time a comic creator would show up on the show would be YEARS later, but not for the one I was actually reviewing at the time.

The ending fight was both to justify the purchase of the Green Ranger costume as well as because I was still operating under the “every Power Rangers comic review must have a fight” attitude to it. I freely admit I’m out of shape and I’m working on that for the AT4W Movie. We’ll see if I actually succeed in that department, but for now we have me wearing this silly little outfit. The line about “I could look like a clown and I wouldn’t care, since all that matters is I’m kicking your ass in it” was originally intended for the Zeo Ranger Linkara fight against Mechakara, but it ended up being cut, either because it interrupted the flow or because I had forgotten to film it. I can’t remember at this point.
