Convert from a 4.6L to a 5.0L Block. The Ford Performance Boss Modular 5.0L Engine Block is an answered prayer for all Mustang owners. This kit will allow you to bolt-in a modular 5.0L block in your 4.6L V8. By upping the displacement of your Mustang, you will reap the rewards of increased horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range. Installing a set of larger pistons will complete your new 5.0-liter set-up. This is a bare engine block and does not include internal components. The Ford Boss Modular 5.0L Engine Block will require milling of the deck and finishing the bore depending on the application. This cast-iron 5.0L engine block is a direct fit replacement for the 4.6-liter block in your 1996-2004 Mustang GT.
