Aputure 300D ii | One Year Later: Should You Buy?

After spending more than a year with my Aputure 300d II, I've learned what it does well and where it fails. The general takeaway is that this light works great-- when it works. Both of my large Aputure lights stopped working, one after a year, one after three months. When they do choose to turn on, they're bright and great.
