planting basil from the grocery store

My grocery store basil last year was a flop, but I think it’s still worth trying! I think if they had gotten more time to get established and if we didn’t have mice or if I had planted them elsewhere, they would have almost all made it.

This year our basil was amazing ☺️ it was all planted in a different spot and it did really great. We did also start from seed this year, so we can’t directly compare, but I’d definitely be curious to try again.
