KISSteria – The Ultimate Vinyl Road Case: The Unveiling

In celebration of their 40th anniversary, KISS – in tandem with UMe and Mercury Records – have released KISSteria – The Ultimate Vinyl Road Case.

Housed in a sturdy Anvil case, KISSteria contains 34 LPs pressed onto audiophile 180g vinyl, with many titles appearing for the first time on vinyl since as far back as 1985. The set features 19 studio albums, five "Alive" releases and the 1978 four solo albums, as well as six exclusive vinyl albums not available elsewhere. Albums appearing for the first time on vinyl ever are Carnival Of Souls, Greatest KISS, - Alive: The Millennium Concert, and Psycho Circus. All audio is newly remastered in ultra-high definition DSD (Direct Stream Digital).

Additional bonus items include 12 11”x17” archival posters (including the band’s very first promo poster), KISS vinyl cleaning cloth, KISS turntable mat, KISS dominoes set, four lithographs highlighting four decades of the band, and a certificate of authenticity. As a lifelong KISS fan, I feel that KISS on vinyl represents the essence of the authentic KISS listening experience. Many fans have fond memories of listening to KISS on vinyl and getting lost in the music, the cool artwork, the merch forms, and the extras. This set, while pricey, combines a treasure trove of remastered KISS vinyl (with some omissions – Sonic Boom, KISS My Ass, etc.) with some unique extras to form a one-of-a-kind collectible that bottles the experiential magic of KISS.
