Welcome to Slow-tober, day one! In this relaxed sketching session, we’re diving into some cozy autumn vibes with a quick 5-minute warm-up sketch. Today's theme is "warm slippers," but I wanted to play around with more ideas—like a funny standing cat wearing a checkered scarf! I love experimenting with colors, and today I'm using a mix of pinks and blues to bring a soft yet lively feel to the illustration. I kept the cat’s look playful, layering textures and making sure it didn’t feel too flat by adding subtle color variations.

This sketch was all about ease, not stressing over perfection, and just enjoying the creative process. I’m feeling calm about this challenge because I know it’s all about keeping it simple and fun! You’ll see me change things up, experiment with different colors, and even try a new pencil to add texture to the slippers and the fur. I think it's important to use these warm-ups to loosen up your hand and get into the rhythm before diving into bigger projects.
