3 Days of BARREL RACING! On the road AGAIN

On the road again, I just can't wait to get on the road again. The life I love is barrel racing with my Gwen, I just can't wait to get on the road again!

In this video I take the girls, our niece Kelsi and our daughter Gwen out to Fonda NY to a 3-day NBHA sanctioned barrel race for the 1st annual Shelby Lynn Memorial Barrel Race put on by Midland Barrels. We have never been out to one of their events and we had a great time!
The horses settled right in as did we. I set up a nice little camp and we made some great runs and memories with the horses. The girls had some tough luck on Saturday but by Sunday we all had clean runs in the books. Gwen and CC are still new to each other, and it will take some time for them to come together. It takes time, and a lot of trust to get consistent and fast.
Despite having clean runs on Saturday and Sunday for Tex and I we fell in the cracks for any Open money payouts, but we still landed in the top 30 or so out of 100+ entries on both days.
Kelsi was the winner of the weekend! She placed 3D-2nd place in the youth!
