Please note that if you have a small pool you may want to buy the 48v 500w Vevor pool pump. Or, if you have a 20 x 40 or larger pool you may wish to buy the 72v 1200 watt pump.

More Info:
The solar panel configuration for the Vevor 72v 900 watt and 1200 watt pumps are as follows:
185w - 195w panel = 6 panels in series
200w panel= 6 panels total- 3 in series and 2 grouped in parallel.
250w panel= 6 panels total- 3 in series and 2 grouped in parallel
275w to 330w panel= 6 panels total- 3 in series and 2 grouped in parallel
370w to 400w panel= 3 in series. (this was used in the video): https://ebay.us/XdmChK

Solar panels should be facing south if you are in the northern hemisphere. North if you are in the southern hemisphere.

When you are installing the solar controller, please don't connect the positive up to the panel's MC4 connector until you are ready to run.

The way to install the controller is to begin left to right. The POSITIVE + from the first solar panel goes to the POSITIVE+ of the controller. The NEGATIVE - from the last panel in series goes to the NEGATIVE - on the controller.

When hooking up your solar pump, please look at the flags on each wire: U, V, W are the correct order of hook up from left to right. Please watch the video and refer to the manual. The last two terminals are shorted together. (WC to WH)

Calculating your savings:
Look at the name plate on your old electric pump. Find the volts (230v or 120v) and then the AMPs (15amps)
FORMULA = Volts X Amps = Watts per hour
Take your watts X how many hours you ran your old pump each day.
for example: 230v x 15amps = 3450 watts per hour x how many hours a day. Then divide by 1000 (electric companies only charge by 1000 watts which is a kilowatt. Then find your current electric rate and times that number to get your cost per day. Multiply that by 30 days for your monthly savings.
