তিন দশক ধরে স্থানীয়দের গলার কাঁটা খাগড়াছড়ি-দীঘিনালা সড়ক। ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ বাঁকের কারণে প্রায়ই ঘটছে ছোট বড় দুর্ঘটনা। সাজেকে পর্যটকদের জন্যও ভোগান্তির কারণ। অবশেষে সড়কটির সংস্কার কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। ৬ মাসের মধ্যেই ১৮ কিলোমিটার সড়কটির প্রশস্তকরণ কাজ শেষ হবে বলে জানিয়েছে সড়ক ও জনপথ বিভাগ। জীতেন বড়ুয়ার পাঠানো তথ্য ও ছবি নিয়ে রিপোর্ট।

The Khagrachari-Dighinala road has been a thorn in the side of locals for three decades. Small and big accidents often occur due to risky bends. It is also a source of suffering for tourists in Sajek. Finally, the road's renovation work has started.
